Joan Lu, PhD, RN, PHN, BC‑FMP, is the owner and founder of Bay Area Concierge Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse in California, and also holds RN licenses in the Philippines and Canada. In addition to her nursing practice, she earned a PhD in Natural Medicine and is a Board‑Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner specializing in chronic care management through an integrative approach.

Joan provides personalized, holistic care with a strong emphasis on food as medicine. She has a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and social needs of her patients, and is committed to delivering compassionate care that enhances quality of life, particularly for the aging population.
